WHERE CRAFT LISTENS

Every SUOMMO creation begins as a feeling before it takes shape. Music is part of that origin.

This melody was composed by Ximo Talamantes, founder and designer of SUOMMO, whose artistic path has its roots in music. He wrote it for the international debut of the house in 2010 and for the photographs and film that accompanied it.

It was recorded in Valencia with original instruments and mastered in Paris, the City of Light, where the photographic and video production took place.

The film follows the Dodo Bassinet in several finishes. Its name comes from “dodo”, the tender word French parents use to invite their little ones to sleep: un petit dodo, whether for an afternoon nap or for the night.

In our workshop, artisans move between the silence that perfection demands and the inspiration that flows through music, one more element of the identity that SUOMMO gives to every creation.
